About Course

It is a legal requirement to report any Legionella exposure to the Health and Safety Executive, also known as the HSE. As a business, exposing people to Legionella can lead to large fines and/or criminal proceedings. Regardless of your role, it’s essential that you are aware of the risks and do what you can to reduce them.

This course is intended to give you an awareness of Legionella and how to prevent it, however if you are the person responsible for assessing the risk of Legionella or in charge of water distribution systems, it is likely that you will need further training that is more relevant to your specific role within your organisation.

The course, which lasts approximately 22 minutes in total, is four sections long.
