About Course

LEV is an extract ventilation system that takes dusts, mists, gases, vapour or fumes out of the air so that they cannot be breathed in. Properly designed LEV will collect the air that contains the contaminants, make sure they are contained and taken away from people, and finally, clean the air (if necessary) and get rid of the contaminants safely.

We’ve designed this course in order for your staff to understand the importance and correct use of LEV within the workplace.

The course will discuss the legal aspects of LEV, what must be done, the types of LEV, air exchange, LEV checks, RPE and much more, together with a short questionnaire following the completion of the induction video.

Who should take this course?

This course is particularly important to those in the construction industry, or those involved in production, building facilities and maintenance.

However, it is beneficial to all employees to carry out this training to make sure they know about LEV in the workplace generally.
